Web based Professional Truck Driver Training Program

Take your first step toward a lucrative career as a Professional Truck Driver.  Offered as an option to our regular on-site entry level training, our Web based program is designed to provide you flexibility in training. It is a simple two-phase process.

Phase-one: successfully complete the Web based classroom portion of the Central Tech Professional Truck Driver Training program.

Phase-two: 18 day on-site training to complete the behind-the-wheel driving experience.

This two-phase training experience is convenient, saves you money, and works with your schedule.  Phase-one, Web based training (WBT) allows you up to 8 weeks to complete the classroom portion of training.  By making this academic section fit your schedule, you will have the ability to continue life as usual while gaining knowledge that will help you along your path to a new career.  During this time, you will have access to one of our experienced instructors via email or phone.

For phase-two, you will come to our facility, complete a proctored test with a passing score of 80%, then complete 18 training days focused on developing your CDL driving skills.  You must maintain a minimum of 80% in academics and skills to complete the training.  After successful completion you will be allowed to test at our facility for your Class A license. 
 

Entrance Requirements

To participate in the Web Based Professional Truck Driver program be aware you must meet the following entrance requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Have a good driving record.
• Have no alcohol/drug-related offenses within the past five years.
• Have no felony convictions.
• Meet minimum DOT physical requirements.
• Complete a formal application
